This shoot was part of the investigation in to the US friendly fire incident involving BBC journalist John Simpson in Northern Iraq in 2003 during the conflict.

Whilst filming for the Panorama in northern Iraq, I also shot an feature item for with John Simpson for his "Simpson's World" strand on BBC World.

We visited the ancient city state of Nimrud to film the 2500 year old stone carvings and the remains of the city walls that were being protected by US soldiers from looters.
