Throughout June and July 2009,I travelled with Simon Reeve to shoot programme 4 of the series Tropic of Cancer for BBC 2. The trip across the Indian sub continent followed the Tropic of Cancer from the coast of Gujarat through the Rann of Kach desert all the way to Kolkatta via the infamous city of Bhopal.

Kolatta, the old British Capital with its outstanding Victorian era relics was a snapshot of a bygone age thrust firmly into a 21st century India. The journey across India was an amazing visual feast of humanity and nature and an assault on every one of the senses. The programme was shot in HD using a Panasonic
HDX 900 camera.
